Help with the Job Beast Gmail add-on, email integration, and your account.

## Get help

The fastest way to reach us is email. Write to [info@jobbeast.org](mailto:info@jobbeast.org) with your question and as much detail as you can — the Google account you use with Job Beast, the application or email involved, and what you expected to happen. It reaches a monitored inbox, and we aim to respond within a few business days.

## Common issues

### The add-on doesn’t appear in Gmail

Refresh the Gmail tab (the tab, not the whole browser). If it’s still missing, confirm that the Google account you installed the add-on on is the same account you’re currently signed in to in Gmail. Full walkthrough: [Install the Gmail add-on](/email-integration/install-add-on).

### I see “Connect Gmail at app.jobbeast.org first”

The add-on identifies you by your Gmail address and looks you up in Job Beast, so you need a Job Beast account with Gmail connected. Sign in at [app.jobbeast.org](https://app.jobbeast.org), connect Gmail from **Settings → Connected Accounts**, then reopen the message in Gmail.

### A forwarded reply didn’t show up

Forwards are picked up within a few minutes. If we can’t match the email to one of your applications, you’ll get an “Unmatched” reply with a one-click link to attach it yourself — that link is good for 14 days and works without signing in.

### I didn’t get a confirmation email

Confirmation emails are configurable in **Settings → Reply Capture**. If it’s set to _Never_, none are sent even though your dashboard still updates. Otherwise, check your spam folder — confirmations come from a Job Beast notification address, and Gmail occasionally filters them on first delivery. Mark one as “Not spam” and future confirmations land in your inbox.

### How do I stop or uninstall?

For the add-on, uninstall it from Gmail or revoke access from your [Google Account permissions page](https://myaccount.google.com/permissions). For manual forwarding, simply stop forwarding — nothing further reaches us.

## Manage your data

You stay in control of your data. You can delete your account and everything associated with it — your resume, saved job searches, application records, email history, and Gmail tokens — at any time from your **Settings** page. You can also delete an individual imported email from its application in your dashboard.

Your data is removed from active systems immediately; a short soft-delete window may apply before it is permanently purged, including from backups.
